Our plans for this colt consist of a lot of showing, and eventually offering him for public service. His pedigree tells us he should be quite the competitior, and his disposition, flash and conformation just repeats the already known. He will start in 08 showing halter on the aphc circuit and the CPHA circuits. He will be dual registered with Canadian Pinto, APHA, and possibly the American Pinto Association. He is a true Buckskin tobiano, with two brown eyes with some blue in both of them. This little guy is quite exceptional, so we are quite tickled pink with him. As this was his dams last foal, she went out with a bang! This colt is NOT for sale.
Merikle Waters is also proud to present 07 APHA/CPHA Chestnut Overo "Tristans Millenium" as one of our next stallion prospects.
Tristan is an exceptional individual, by our stallion, and out of our TB mare "She's Aloof", he is bound to be as athletic as both parents. Recieving the best traits from both his parents, we believe he will win on the halter circuit as a young horse, and then go on to have a spectactular western pleasure/hunter career. There are many things this colt could be spectacular doing, as told by his papers and parents. Now we just have to wait and see what he wants to do.
Tristan went to his first show on April 26th, at Still Meadows Ranch. He was nervous, but behaved quite well regardless. He did very well at his first show! We are very proud!
Tristan is enrolled in the APHA PAC program, this allows him to accumulate PAC points through open competition. Tristan has a busy show schedule this season, entered in as many open shows, APHA Shows and CPHA shows as we can manage, we have high hopes for him.
