Our two 2020 foals have arrived!

The first being a bay overo colt, 'Callum' (MW My Kind Of Kool) By My Kind Of Lazy (X Lazy Loper) and out of our awesome mare, Simply Kool Kat. Born April 8, 2020. This colt is available for sale.

Then on March 6, we welcomed 'Neo', bay/black tovero colt. Sired by Tristans Millenium and out of our lease mare Pixie Blue May Deltas (Owned by Brigadoon Paints). This colt will be available for sale once his APHA paperwork has been processed.

Whats New at MW - 2019?

All of our 2019 foals have arrived! Two are already sold, and the third has a sale pending. With that, we are back out on the show circuit, welcoming lots of new experiences!

Our 2017 APHA/CPtHA Homozygous dun - Grulla tobiano filly - PLRStraitQTEDunInTime hit her first show - and won her halter class.

Tiva (MW JustWannaBeFamous) has been busy winning ribbons with my student Taylor Martz, even trying their hand at their first riding classes together.

ione (MW Drum Roll Please) had her debut under saddle at the Saskatoon APHA/Open show, and came away with 100% firsts and seconds in all of their classes (under both judges), and finished things off with a walk/trot high point win!

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our senior stallion, Millenium Miracle.

May 7 - 2000 to January 10 - 2018

His legacy lives on through his progeny, both current, and the ones still to arrive. We are expecting 4 foals by him here at Merikle Waters in 2018, and have a couple straws of frozen semen for future private use.

This multiple CPtHA National Champion producing sire has been so good for us in the past 14 years of raising and promoting his foals. Not only earning his title of producing true all arounders that excel at the shows, but also in his one of a kind attitude he loved to pass to his foals. He will be greatly missed by us and always fondly remembered. Thank you "Manito', for all of the blessings you brought into my life by being apart of it.

We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first 2015 foal out of our mare 'Whiskey Is The Key'. This gorgeous mare is an own daughter of AQHA Canadian Super horse, AQHA Reserve World Show Champion, Superior WP & Superior HUS 'Whiskey Gold'.

Sire of her 2015 foal is Painted River Ranches stallion, Pistol Packin Frekles homozygous tobiano stallion that is a Superior WP, Superior Trail, 2 X PtHA World Champion, Western riding and horsemanship ROM. Sire of numerous futurity money earners, and point earners.

Foal will be CCF and Breeders Trust Nominated

On Her first outing of 2013, JLo (Simply Kool Kat) attended the SAHA show. She is entirely Au-naturale, and won her 13 horse mare class.

A Good show season for Merikle Waters in 2012

Milleniums Vendetta is an earner of both her Showmanship APHA PAC Certificate of Recognition, but also her Halter PAC Certificate of Recognition.

Tristans Millenium got the last remaining points needed to finish his Halter APHA PAC Certificate of Achievement.

We got 9 horses out and about on the open, Pinto, NCC & APHA show circuits this year - Tristans Millenium (Stallion), Chics Montana Slyder (Stallion/R and R Paints), Northfork Peso (Stallion/Nancy Graham), Milleniums Vendetta (Mare, Natasha Dombrosky), MW SimplyNotMyStyle (filly), Simply Kool Kat (filly), MW Simply Supreme (gelding), MW JustWannaBeFamous (filly) & Milleniums Taylor Made (gelding).

Tristans Millenium stood grand champion at halter at the 2012 Athabasca NCC show, Milleniums Taylor Made recieved numerous top 3 placings in showmanship, performance and equitation classes.
